Contact Groups

Contact groups email addresses are used ONLY when the notification type is EMAIL on the Home tab. If the notification is set to EMAIL special considerations must be made to allow relay for the Agent within the customers network so notices can be sent to internal and external email address. This is provided only for legacy configurations for notification processing.

The Contact group also is used in general terms to establish parameters for asset notifications regardless of the Notification type being used.
